Bio: B.A. in Classical Greek with minors in Latin and German, BYU 1970. B.S. in electrical engineering, Air Force Institute of Technology, Dayton, Ohio, 1982. M.S. in Physics, University of New Mexico, 1989. Graduate work in Egyptology, Johns Hopkins University, 1970-73. Graduate work in Egyptology, Freie Universitaet, Berlin, 1977-78. Assistant Professor of Physics, United States Air Force Academy (1989-93). United States Air Force Academy Observatory Director (1989-93). Served in the United States Air Force 1973-93.
